Hi there! I’m Nick Nisi - a proud father of two wonderful kids and the lucky husband of my amazing wife. Family is the center of my world and my greatest joy.
In the tech community, you might know me as a host on the JS Party podcast, where I get to discuss the latest trends and topics in JavaScript with some of the brightest minds in the field. It’s a real honor to be part of such an awesome show.
I’m passionate about bringing people together to learn and grow. In the past, I had the privilege of organizing NEJS Conf and TypeScript Conf, two fantastic conferences for developers. These days, I focus my community efforts on running the NebraskaJS meetup, connecting with the vibrant JavaScript community here in my home state.
As an engineer, I specialize in web technologies and have a deep love for TypeScript. I’m always exploring the latest frameworks and tools, and I take pride in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Whether I’m working on a complex web app or a small side project, I strive to deliver top-notch results.

In my (limited) free time, I’m excitedly tinkering on a startup of my own. While I can’t share too many details yet, stay tuned for updates as this new venture takes shape! I also enjoy taking on diverse challenges and learning new things. For example, I’ve had the honor of officiating 10 weddings for friends and family over the years. It’s always incredibly meaningful to play a role in joining two lives together.
Oh, and did I mention I’m also a senior engineer at a FAANG company? It’s challenging and rewarding work that keeps me on my toes.

I’m a long-time TypeScript enthusiast and community builder — I’ve organized conferences like NEJS Conf and TypeScript Conf, emcee’d more than ten events, and taught JavaScript and TypeScript workshops for years.
